ROTARY VACUUM PRODUCTS, INC.
A leader in the ferrofluidic rotary feedthrough industry with a team of one of the most experienced and knowledgeable groups of industry experts worldwide.
ABOUT
Founded in 2020, Rotary Vacuum Products (“RVP”) is a leader in the ferrofluidic rotary feedthrough industry. Our brand may be new, but our team is one of the most experienced and knowledgeable groups of industry experts worldwide.
Our leadership team has worked closely together for almost 20 years as a stand-alone business unit formally under Rigaku, a Japanese-based manufacturing conglomerate.
In 2020, our current ownership completed an executive-led management buyout. As a result, the entire North American division formally branded Rigaku Vacuum Products and found an exciting new life as Rotary Vacuum Products in September 2020.
INDUSTRY APPLICATIONS
Sputtering Equipment
Sputtering is classified as a dry plating method, and plating can be done without exposing the coating object to liquid or high-temperature gas. There are various fields of application, but it is an indispensable technology for thin film deposition that requires high-quality for semiconductors and FPDs.
Ion Implanter
Ion implantation is used to change the properties of a substrate by accelerating the ionized atoms or molecules and implanting them into the substrate. In semiconductor manufacturing, electrical characteristics can be given by implanting boron or phosphorus into a silicon wafer.
CVD Equipment
CVD is one of the thin film deposition technologies called chemical vapor deposition. The heated substrate is supplied with a gas containing the components to be film-formed, and the film is deposited by a chemical reaction on the substrate surface.
Physical Vapor Deposition
This describes various vacuum deposition methods that can be used to produce thin films and coatings. They are formed at relatively low temperatures (400-600°C) and are characterized by a process in which the material goes from a condensed phase to a vapor phase and then back to a thin film condensed phase. The most common processes are sputtering and evaporation. It is used to manufacture items that require thin films for mechanical, optical, chemical, or electronic functions.
